The ePod is socketed, so you plug your cable into the charger as well as the car. We supply a Type 2 cable with every socketed unit — keep it in the boot.

A socketed charger is only as reliable as its cable. Keep the connector ends clean and dry, coil it loosely rather than tightly, and do not drive over it. If the cable is damaged, stop using it and contact us.
Current sensors on your incoming supply keep the charger within what the house can safely draw, backing off automatically at busy moments.
Try a different cable end first — a socketed unit gives you that option, and a marginal connector is the most common cause. Then check the Ohme app. Email ev@volteire.ie if it persists.
Your installation is covered by a 2-year Volt Éire workmanship warranty, and the charger unit carries a separate 3-year manufacturer warranty from Ohme. We handle manufacturer claims for you — one email to ev@volteire.ie covers both.
