Every Volt Éire installation includes a smart home charger. The standard package uses the BENY 7.4 kW smart home charger; upgrade units appear only after their SEAI strings, supplier stock, pricing, images and DLB package rules are signed off.
It's included from €999 net after the €300 SEAI grant — you pay the fixed price of €1,299 all-in upfront and receive €300 back from SEAI after installation. Live upgrade chargers from other manufacturers carry their own fixed all-in prices during sign-up.

A compact wall-mounted charger for Irish homes
The charger is fitted with its tethered cable, isolator, and dedicated protection as part of the installation. Your installer confirms the route, mounts the unit, commissions the charger, and walks you through first use before leaving.

Smart, but only when you want it
You can use the charger as a simple plug-and-go unit on day one. When you're ready, the BENY Z-BOX app on your phone unlocks scheduled charging, RFID management, history and remote start.
Z-BOX is the manufacturer's app — we don't require an account with us to use your charger.
OCPP 1.6J
Open-protocol smart charger — works with the BENY cloud and any OCPP 1.6J back-end (e.g. Monta, ChargeHQ).
Works without internet
No network needed for daily charging. RFID cards or a tap on the app via Bluetooth get you going even when Wi-Fi is down.
DLB-ready (optional package)

Take control with the Z-BOX app
Z-BOX is the official BENY app for the charger. It pairs directly over Bluetooth the first time, then can switch to your home Wi-Fi for local-network control. No subscription, no ads, no data collection — the publisher confirms “the developer does not collect any data from this app”.
