1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of Volteire Limited, trading as Volt Éire ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Volteire Limited provides EV charger installation services for residential properties in Ireland. Our services include:

  • Property assessment via photo/video submission
  • Eligibility checks for SEAI grant requirements
  • Professional installation by certified electricians
  • SEAI grant application assistance (including third‑party submission)
  • Ongoing support via the Volt Éire app

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Own or have authority over the property where installation will occur
  • Have off-street parking suitable for EV charging
  • Provide accurate information during the application process

4. Pricing and Payment

Our standard installation package is priced at €1,299, which includes the charger, installation, and all standard materials. You pay €1,299 upfront. We handle your SEAI grant application. After installation, SEAI will email you a declaration to sign, and you receive €300 back within 4–6 weeks (subject to eligibility). Net cost: €999.

Additional work beyond standard installation (such as electrical panel upgrades) will be quoted separately and requires your approval before proceeding.

Payment is collected upfront at the time of booking via Stripe. You must complete payment before your installation date is confirmed. We accept major credit and debit cards.

5. SEAI Grant

We assist with SEAI grant applications but cannot guarantee grant approval. The SEAI grant is subject to SEAI eligibility criteria and available funding. You remain responsible for the full installation cost if your grant application is unsuccessful.

Where you authorise Volt Éire to apply on your behalf, you appoint us as your third‑party representative for the SEAI Electric Vehicle Home Charger Grant scheme. You agree to provide accurate information, and you understand SEAI may reject an application that does not meet scheme rules.

6. Installation

Installations are performed by Safe Electric certified electricians. Standard installations take 2-4 hours. You must be present during installation to provide access and sign off on completed work.

Installation dates are subject to installer availability and weather conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date.

7. Warranty

Your installation includes a 2-year workmanship warranty covering defects in installation. The charger unit carries the manufacturer's warranty (typically 2-3 years). Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.

8. Consent & Declarations

By consenting during onboarding, you confirm the information you provide is accurate, accept our Terms and Privacy Policy, and acknowledge the SEAI scheme terms where applicable. You also authorise Volt Éire to receive SEAI correspondence on your behalf where you select third‑party submission.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your order before installation is scheduled without penalty. Cancellation after installation scheduling may incur charges. Contact us to discuss cancellation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Volt Éire's liability is limited to the amount paid for our services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and app, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Volt Éire or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

12. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use our services for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with the operation of our website or services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
