Wallbox Pulsar Max owner guide

Everything you need to run your charger day to day. Written for this unit specifically — the app and controls differ between chargers, so instructions for a different model will not match what you see.

Your first charge

Your installer pairs the unit to the Wallbox app during commissioning. Depending on the build you chose, the cable is either attached or plugs into the socket.

  1. Plug in at the charger (socketed build) and at the car.
  2. The light ring confirms the vehicle is recognised.
  3. Charging starts unless a schedule is set.

Scheduling

Set a repeating window in the Wallbox app so the car charges on your night rate. You can leave it plugged in outside those hours without it drawing power.

  1. Open the Wallbox app and select your charger.
  2. Add a schedule matching your tariff's cheap window.
  3. Save — it repeats until you change it.

Charging from your solar

With the Wallbox power meter fitted, the charger can use surplus generation rather than exporting it. Ask us if you have panels and this was not part of your original install.

Load balancing

The power meter also handles load balancing, so the charger stays within what your supply can carry and eases off when the house is busy.

If something looks wrong

Check the light ring, then the Wallbox app. Email ev@volteire.ie with what the light is doing and we will diagnose it with you.

Warranty and support

Your installation is covered by a 2-year Volt Éire workmanship warranty, and the charger unit carries a separate 3-year manufacturer warranty from Wallbox. We handle manufacturer claims for you — one email to ev@volteire.ie covers both.

Still stuck?

Email ev@volteire.ie with your Eircode and a photo of the charger. We handle manufacturer claims for you, so you only need to talk to us.
